Can I download the Palmkin app yet?
The app is not available to download yet. This website explains Palmkin and lets you share ideas or feedback.
Why local AI?
A local model processes your words on your phone and can answer without a connection after setup. Downloading the model still needs internet. AI can make mistakes even when an answer sounds convincing.
What does my phone need?
Local AI needs free storage, working memory and battery power. Not every Android phone is equally suitable, and there is no supported-device list yet. The Android version alone is not enough to tell.
Does the app automatically remember what I say?
Memory is off by default. Enabling it includes limited automatic saving of clearly stated personal facts from your own messages. You can review, edit and delete them. Switching it off does not erase saved memories; deleting a chat does not either. Temporary chats do not teach memories, and project facts stay with their project.
Are the AI examples real?
They are fictional examples to explain an idea, not working features in your browser. They do not use your microphone or camera, search the web or perform phone actions.
What happens to my feedback?
A moderator reviews your submission before an approved summary becomes public. Your contact email stays private. While you type, your title may already be sent to find similar public ideas. Keep private information out of it. Voting needs a verified email; submitting does not.
